Wajdi Akef Fakhoury has served as a Clinical Director for three START programs (Systemic, Therapeutic, Assessment, Resources and Treatment) across California. He currently serves as Clinical Director at CA-START San Diego. Wajdi’s expertise lies in intellectual and developmental disabilities and co-occurring complex mental health challenges. Wajdi's approach to care is holistic and utilizes a biopsychosocial lens while integrating cultural competence, PERMA, and person-centered care. He holds a Master of Arts in Marriage & Family Therapy and is currently advancing his research as a doctoral candidate in the field of international and multicultural psychosocial health.
