The Autism Society San Diego offers support groups throughout the county. All Support Group dates and information can be found on our Calendar page.
Here are just some of the available support groups in San Diego.
- Spectrum Social
A welcoming space where autistic adults can connect, build friendships, ask questions, share concerns, and receive peer support in a non judgmental accepting environment. Open to all adults with autism, along with any support persons needed to participate successfully. - Girl Power
A safe space for autistic women ages 18 and older to come together, share experiences, receive support, and build meaningful connections. Open to all adult women with autism, as well as any support persons needed to participate successfully. - Coffee Talk
Sit... Chat... Relax. A casual opportunity to connect with others navigating similar life experiences in a comfortable, relaxing environment. Meets monthly in North County. - Thirsty Thursdays
Online and open to all members of the community interested in improving the lives of individuals affected by autism. The group includes people of all ages, living situations, and all levels of functioning. A wealth of information is shared and everyone is welcome, regardless of where you are on this journey. - Dadvocate Happy Hour
A Support Group for Dads: Join us for a casual happy hour to connect and talk about all things autism with other dads who understand your journey. This group meets in North County and is open to any dad with a child on the spectrum. - Moms Group
A support group for moms in the South Bay, open to any mother with a child on the autism spectrum. Connect with other women who are on the same journey and share experiences, support, and encouragement. - Grupo de Apoyo en Español (Spanish Support Group)
Grupo de padres y familiares con niños con Autismo. Vengan a compartir información, apoyo y amistad. Tambien estamos en Facebook, en La Sociedad de Autismo de San Diego.
EastLake Church: 990 Lane Ave, Chula Vista, CA 91914 Room 4 - East County Support Group - held on the first Monday of each month at San Diego Oasis in La Mesa from 6-8 PM. We invite community members to join us at our NEW East County Support Group in La Mesa.

- Teen Enrichment Group/Parent Support Group:
- Teen Enrichment Group for Ages 15+/Parent Support Group - held monthly on the third Tuesday of each month at our office from 6-8 PM
- Parents and teens 15 and over are invited to join us at our NEW Parent Support Group and NEW Teen Enrichment Group. These two groups will run simultaneously in two separate rooms. Please note that the teen enrichment group is open to participants with level 1 and 2 autism - we are not able to support participants who have more significant support needs at this group.
- Severe Autism Caregiver Support Group (Zoom): The purpose of this support group is to provide a safe, confidential group for those living with and/or caring for someone with Level 3/profound/high support needs autism. The group provides an opportunity for caregivers to ask questions, share information and openly discuss their needs, challenges and wins.
