Lezya Weglarz wears many hats in the school counseling profession. She currently serves as a Project Specialist for the San Diego County Office of Education where she supports K12 School Counseling across San Diego County. Lezya is a Board Director for the California Association of School Counselors and an Adjunct Professor at San Diego State University where she teaches future school counselors. Lezya's prior experience includes being the Multi-Tiered System of Support Coordinator, District Counselor, and middle school counselor for the San Marcos Unified School District. As a school counselor, Lezya has supported the mental health needs of students with and without identified disabilities. Prior to entering the school counseling profession, Lezya was a Family Liaison for many years, specifically focused on supporting families with children with disabilities.
