CTA's Community Connection Project (CCP) is a nonprofit, community-based adult (ages18+) transition program which focuses on providing supported, integrated, community experiences for individuals with significant communication and behavioral challenges with diagnoses such as autism. The vision of Community Connection Project is to bridge the gap between school and adulthood. To achieve this vision, CCP provides natural opportunities for our program participants to discover what they want to do in their adult lives and develop and practice skills to make these choices a reality. Their natural supports and chosen provider networks are then trained on what they want and what supports and plans are needed to be successful in those environments. We will help program participants feel empowered and to feel like an essential contributor to their own lives. CCP individually trains community members, support team and providers, vocational/volunteer venues, and any other adult networks that our program participants and their loved ones have chosen for them. Kyo’s motto “Make Every Moment Count” reflects our core mission of promoting effective and efficient learning that is tailored to each child. We believe naturalistic, child-centered ABA therapy is one of the most effective ways to teach children with autism. We meet families where they are, to teach children in ways that feel comfortable for them and motivate them to develop new skills. Celebrating neurodiversity means incorporating a child’s unique personality into the therapy plan to deliver effective, purposeful treatment. The result is more meaningful moments for children and their families. Outcomes are the results we can see and feel. Like when your child learns to say “Mama, I need help” or is able to sit and enjoy a dinner out.In Kyo’s child-centered therapy model, a kid who loves balloons might be presented with different colored balloons to identify by color, with the therapist blowing up the balloon or letting it zip around the room, once the child responds correctly. Another child who is fascinated by vehicles might learn to identify colors when the therapist presents different colored matchbox cars.Kyo holds itself accountable for driving outcomes that are meaningful and objectively measurable. We are effective, child-centric, and convenient! Visit us today at Kyocare.com. Ages Served: 0-3, 04-12, 13-17, 18-22. Insurance Accepted: MediCal,Private Insurance
